Does a Lab need to involved ? We may get to stage where a provider (hospital / remote MO in the field etc) can implant the chip and the data set gets transmitted direct to a receiving point/ terminal for evaluation. Imagine remote MO's in the field able to get test results for things like pandemics et al in real time. The cost and time savings on bypassing labs would almost certainely be disruptive to the current way of doing these..
