Around midday today I was feeling a little upset that the market isn't quite reacting to this news the way the market would have reacted before the Australian Financial Review dumped a load of factually incorrect information (as well as other misleading information) about AXE. Then along came the shorters, and we have had a steady decline to this point with the occasional temporary spike with positive progress announcements. This announcement alone, not to mention all the other tremendous advancement updates has me very surprised we're not back well above $1. But I think the difference with this announcement, is talk of the actual 'c' word, leads me to think that the days of this stock being dominated by day traders might be over, with the more serious longer term investors starting to take notice with the 'c' word; that is, commercialisation. This feels like the first time we've had a solid goal for what can be commercialised, and when. (But like I said above, it is not an end-product, it is just going to be a lab on a chip, of which significant medical testing will be required to prove it's worth before it can actually be implemented for a product to be sold in the way that we are envisaging, to end-users).

So, I think the SP gains today will hold, and not decline a couple days or weeks after all the others. I'm excited and glad to have not sold out!
