this makes it sound like they'll just make it and then test them to see what sticks - seems like a very gungho shotgun approach. i think the company needs to explain better what diseases / viruses/ bacteria they are hoping to target and the process they will go through to test the device's ability to detect these.
it would be a shame to spend all this money to find out it can only reliably detect some obscure virus that 0.000001% of the population might get?? addressable market would be tiny.
