The issue for a truly functional Lab-on-a-chip is that you still need a laboratory to perform the precise system to inject, split and control the positioning of samples. Therefore is it a Lab-on-a-chip or a Chip-in-a-lab?
So far, the labs are safe in that knowledge and have been winning the argument. However, what Archer is doing is ‘disruptive’ if it works. That’s because it will cut into a labs licence-to-print-money. So, I'm not surprised that this isn't marked price sensitive. Until it is a reality, it isn't a threat. However, the potential SP value of just this part of AXE's business will be beyond enormous for not just SP value but human health in general.
