The ASX have been casting a very close eye over all COVID-19 related announcements to ensure companies are not cashing in on the hype and misleading the market. IMO the Pause and Halt was actually led by ASX rather than BIT as they had to ensure and back up their claims hence why Addendum was included to ensure clarity for investors. ASX have done this across multiple stocks trying to cash in.

BIT is still not a done deal by any stretch and a long way to go for any biotech in this space as scientists keep saying it takes 18-24 months to produce a working vaccine and we are 8-9 months into the pandemic so 12 months is a realistic fast track time in my opinion but I doubt BIT can meet the timeline to beat out competitors.
