Long time ago now but I remember being concerned at the time around all the board and substantial shareholder changes when anchorage private equity sold out.
I was reading something the other day about Phil Cave anchorage director and it said that he had overseen almost compete divestment of their number 2 fund. And here we have the reason for the sell down.... just a usual recycle of private equity assets. They had already owned BIS for over 10 years which is much longer than most private equity investments. It is obvious in hindsight and so long ago it doesn't matter anyway but at least in my mind i have some clarity about why it happenedand I can't believe I didn't think of that at the time .
