This betrays how little I know about medicine but I find it so awful that 40% response rate is basically a terrific, incredible result, and of those 6 who responded to treatment only 2, presumably, remain alive.
I know these people are dreadfully sick before treatment and have failed several previous lines, and what kills them is typically infection or immune disease, and don't mean to take anything away from the achievement from Race and the Sheba team etc... but sh*t cancer just sucks so hard. Statement of the bleeding obvious for today.
These announcements kind of make me sad, despite the excitement over the results, lack of cardiotoxicity etc. Anyway, with that out of the way, look forward to a 220 trial announcement soon, presumably.
