Risk verse reward. Each drug you add to a mix increases the chance that something bad will happen. The combination we chose to go with is nearly as good as using three nucleoside analogues so there is not much to be gained given the increased risk.
I am sure if this trial goes well people we run trials with additional agents added - the one I would personally chose first would be to add Ventoclax to the mix.
