In my view, the third trial was requested/advised by the FDA or potential partner/pharma.
My concern as an investor was we didn't know about this third trial or the 2nd trial for that matter. Whilst I'm pleased the news was positive and encouraging, it does beg the question if other trials have been undertaken and results un announced due to an unfavourable outcome. I think this is probably more likely the case before November last year when they were testing other compounds.
Based on the results which have been released, it's difficult to understand why BIT225 wouldn't be accepted into CTAP but given we now know the FDA 60 day response period has exceeded with no news from Biotron, we can only speculate about the reasons why.
I believe BIT are in discussions with pharma/partners with positive news on it's way, but we need news sooner rather than later as the company's cash on hand needs addressing.
