The thought about this trial being conducted as a result from initial FDA feedback crossed my mind too. If so, then it is a big positive, and an FDA final decision into CTAP (or not) is imminent ! Not being informed about this trial is one clue to this theory.

However, the Biotron team and US consultants could have taken the initiative and instigated this rather than do nothing, after all, why not try for the same results over a longer period, and while at it, try delayed dosing? I thought that this would be elementary. Regardless of method of madness, it is a great outcome.

I think though that the second part of your query, as easily as it is to consider, is a stretch. Life is just not that predictable.
