the weakest part of all this is the fda imo. In the last few years some pretty sketchy stuff has got thru and some other stuff has been sent packing. This is just from my sliver of experience that I have seen and read about.
large pharma is prone to green lights and then smaller companies are prone to set backs. For what has been presented from the animal models, you would think we should see progress. My big concern is potential lobbying to curtail this. Hopefully just paranoid unfounded and irrelevant idea or concern I have that becomes moot when approval is given.
