I have owned BKI for quite a few years. This SPP really disappoints me also. If there was a good rationale for the extra capital, management would have outlined it in the SPP offer. A general public offer at a diluted price is a shocking decision and just a fee grab. I also cannot make the investor presentations, I hope some hard questions get asked!
I'm not selling out of BKI but reluctant to increase my holding beyond the regular yearly SPP. If they pull a stunt like this again I will be selling all of my holding!
