It is interesting to note that GMG has dropped by 12.4% over the past year whilst BKW is up 7.7%. BKW has beaten GMG in each of the 3 , 5 and 10 year charts. I found that strange so I did the next check. In my training when we used an abacus (look it up in google - lol) we had the view that good to great companies doubled your money in 10 years. GMG did that with 110% growth over 10 years. BKW did 280%.
However I think that was a very unusual period for both BKW and SOL (which did 121% over 10 Years) Was the catalyst for this magical decade NHC?. However if it was NHC then how come BKW did better than SOL. Who remembers the New Saraji mine that was sold to BHP/ Mitsubishi alliance for $2.45 billion in 2008. Right at the time assets were going to crash and become cheaper... So what is the next advent to shift this corporate entity...
Right now I cannot see the next value creator. Maybe they become an investment bank lol
