Bc8 is accumulating one of the best exploration portfolios in the area. A lot of it already has existing mining permits ready to go. They now have a massive chunk of land near Kal. All their ground has either a proven gold deposit or gold exploration upside. If you are a mid tier wanting to grab a long term foothold in Kal, there is only Bc8. If Bc8 lives long enough to build a plant, then we could expect more of these sorts of transactions because Bc8 will become the mill hub for the East side of Kal. I can’t believe that surrounding mills would allow Bc8 to build its own mill when they could simply dig and truck to their own operations. The mills already have the sunken capital so their production costs would be zip. The upcoming studies should shine a light on these things. This is on its way to the first million ounces much quicker than I thought.
The NST merger is positive for Bc8.
