It's the entire graphite sector... reactions are the same with most companies. Until a credible demand for graphite becomes clear, investors are cautious and companies are caged with their SP being muted.
I still liken it to the Li sector 12-18 months ago. The mainstream investor was hearing about EV's and Li-ion batteries being the next big thing but didn't see it as real until Tesla announced off-takes with 2 explorers; Chinese competitors then especially started jumping into the market to lock in their own suppliers and before you knew it, every man and his dog wanted in.
No credible western off-takes have yet been signed for battery grade graphite, thus the mainstream investor has only at this stage dipped their toes into the water IMO.
It's companies like BKT that appear to have a very good product and are methodically proving up its application for battery use that are setting themselves up for big MC jumps when the sector really does take off.
There is no doubt, battery grade graphite demand is building and suppliers will be needed.... the graphite sector will come to life!!!
