now thats what i call a really low grade high capex operation, moving this ore around 4 different cities at low grade. And wilef youre whingeing about POS, BS, Mt Keith is way more isolated and higher capex than POS ., With POS the stuff will go one way straight to kalgoorlie on sealed road, no wonder BHP are losing a fortune keeping Nickel West going.
AFR again today talked about the value of Nickel West has dropped to $340M now as BHP has decided to get rid of it fro whatever loss it takes but bidders want 7-10 year guaranteed offtake supply from othe r NI producers in WA and Jinchuan looking at it, Jinchuan may want to buy it as its cheaper than building a smelter in indonesia at $1B themselves plus they have a deal with western areas on offtake already.
Mt Keith, now thats what i call a really low grade high capex...
