I did a few construction projects about 15 years ago in ("Waiting Awhile" ) WA and nothing has changed. After ordering 3phase and other services 12 months out we were still running on portable generators 3 months after finishing. 15 months delay. We were told by Western Power it will be 6 weeks, then 6 weeks etc.

What surprises me is it is being used as an excuse, everyone knows new services are very very slow, this forum has been talking about FIFO workers and accomodation will be needed 12 months ago, shock horror there is a shortage. BS for sure.

I also feel the new metwork is required by offtakers to firm up deal. Hence delay there. Maybe different smelter/furnances in play here

An old saying is use your time wisely. I see PH has committed a flaw here by soft ann end of june for offtake and debt funding. He has lost a lot of trust again here.

Continuing with ph2 PFS and more drilling is good but to me that was always a concurrent work program, nows its critical path until power is supplied????

why is there no plan b power generation plants in place. Fail to plan is planning to fail.

Back into bottom draw again until the FID is ann.
