I had a conversation with Scott recently and his view is SP is what it is at the moment but will get traction once the market believes what he is saying and he releases an MOU or Offtake.
Tend to agree with him, today he mentioned South Korea , Vietnam and Japan as places there are talking to.
could be wrong here but my thoughts are: South Korea = Ecopro? Japan = LG chem? Vietnam = Vinfast?
A deal with Lg chem or vinfast will just slap market in the face and get this moving. For me I like the plan and it all makes sense, just a matter of ticking the boxes.
i am personally not overly obsessed with the UBU as I know by 2025 it will be a completely new picture, Scott alluded to Chim Van etc in the call today and they seem excited there. BSX hold a very strategic footprint in Vietnam and if they can get a name like LG chem, VInfast on board and then drill some more nickel, game on.
Also Scott seems like a genuine guy and someone who wants to do good here with BSX. I doubt he loves the SP atm and wil be working hard to change that.
Show me the demand for DBU Scott and we will be away.
