Precisely - Mt Keith is a great example - see below. MK is a dunite hosted nickel deposit, and as per below approx 0.28% of the nickel present is hosted by non-sulphide minerals. This is the reason why the MK recoveries (to sulphide concentrate) sit around 65-70% of total nickel - they don't recover the non sulphide nickel. So, it maybe that BKS have quoted the total nickel (including the non sulphide nickel) for the total host rock.
So if they are running at 0.3% total Ni, then the question is - if the non sulphide nickel is in the same order as MK - what is left?
