    The Philippines looks like a good jurisdiction from the outset.

    But dig down and there are gremlins everywhere. Buyer beware!

    There is a reason why all the foreign companies only have one mine in the country. Once you finally get an operation bedded down, you don't bother going again in the Philippines....
