Not a single investor cares about how much revenue a deposit is generating when the operation can't be done profitably and a massive capex bill can't be returned to the investors after a few years of investment. You can say Ta Khoa is worth 25b in Nickel and Copper, but noone would invest $1.2b to build a plant and mine (capex), when the Ni price is too low to maintain a healthy margin that wouldn't even cover the initial investment in the long run.

What matters is NPV of future cash flows (that's how much a deposit is worth), AISC (cost), margin (revenue-cost) and IRR (% of return) on the initial investment in years.
