I thought this was a great read, CSIRO and uni researchers are working on a pilot plant for NCM production. BSX will have to go through the same steps, or maybe they can licence this technology? Either way, BSX becomes an industrial/chemical/industrial company. But IGO has the same ambition, this is IGO's proposed flowsheet for hydrometallurgical nickel sulfate/NCM production. Certainly the South Koreans are more advanced than Australian researchers/IGO, but are using pyrometallurgical processes currently. I wonder who BSX are in discussion with to build the pilot plant and what expertise are they recruiting?
