Wyloo and IGO have been planning to build a downstream nickel refinery producing high-value nickel dominant precursor cathode active material (PCAM) at Kwinana. As far as I know it would be essentially the first Pcam plant in WA as BHP's plant uses a smelting technology primarily created for the stainless steal industry.
If Scottie has issues finding downstream partners and money, why wouldn't BSX cooperate with Wyloo to build their plant in Vietnam or get their dirt shipped to Kwinana?
