I posted this link a few months ago and will do it again so that people might understand how Export Finance Australia works. It is the Australian Government's way of helping to finance projects overseas and is the arm which is being given the responsibility of this $2.1B mentioned on the media thread yesterday which is on top of their existing budget and seemingly intended to be directed toward companies and projects such as BSX and Ta Khoa. They provide loans on favourable terms not grants. They have already provided loans to Vinfast for electric vehicle charging infrastructure etc. It is worthwhile reading their website:
