Its advantageous for BSX to have a higher market cap from the perspective of Ecopro who needs BSX to fund 50% of the capex of the JV (I think around 100M usd, am I in the ballpark?). A higher share price enables them to do that via equity or a combination of equity and debt. The value of their investment in BSX also increases.
