I heard that bit on their AGM video. IMHO, the best section at B1, in the Plover reservoir, is frm 80m gross thknss from 3177-3257m(MD).
I can understand the dilemma on ENI's behalf partly due to the fact that on their composite WL logs density-neutron crossover still continues frm 3257 to TD of 3285m, which when correlated with the resistivity at 3257m is indicative of water (not gas). They could get this LAS data looked up by a third party consultant, if its that confusing to them.
This data could also b correlated/tied up with MEO's real time gas records from that depth, which will show the gas drop-off for that last 28 metre from 3257m to TD, again indicative of water bearing sands not gas.
These r just my views. As we r on a different location at B#2 this could all change (just as Shell found out at ES#2 in stark contrast to ES#1).
