Excellent comeback and one that I can't argue with nor provide any further answers. Looks to me that you have done your research and in your mind have made that decision not to invest based on that research. But, there must be something there in your mind telling you that this could, just maybe, be a bolter and you are craving for more information.
So I will add [without qualification ; ) ] Light emitting device efficiency and eficient renewable power generation is an area of extreme science and one that will deliver huge windfalls to the company that delivers. Sure there are device/technologies available today that are actually delivering light and power but it is the ones that are high in efficiency, cheap to produce, durable and cheap to operate that will rule over all others in the end. You would classify this type of work as "Disruptive technology". BLG technology has stated that this is the type of technology they aim to deliver in LED and Solar. They have demonstrated that the technology is possible, they now need to refine the process to production. As I stated in my earlier post, I will continue to invest on my best guess "gut feel" from the information available that they are a long way down the track of delivering.
I agree that it would be nice to see a business case on both technologies, but we are not going to be privy to that type of information. Once something becomes tangible, then Directors can be more certain of the possibilities and then can make information available. My best guess is that development is likely to be rapidly progressing due to introduction of JV's and we could see many announcements this year that will give BLG that tangible product to put out the information you desire.
Good luck with your decision whichever way you decide. As you can see, not a lot of sellers which indciates to me, no-one wants to be left standing on this stock if/when the buyers come rushing in.
