I have not subscribed to the SPP but have bought more direct in market. The results will be interesting when announced next week.
But in listening to the roundtable discussion, apart from realizing most of this discussion is way, way beyond my paygrade, I recognize there are some extremely clever people working on this stuff that has a lot of applications and it really is the next gen of defense, which also has commercial applications across industry and biomedical. There was some fascinating cross over that has relevance to a couple of my other holdings.
I also realize that it looks like there is going to be a long lead time in getting significant breakthroughs. However the Funding provided by the US Government does show the commitment to getting the countries best minds to focus on this area.
It is a long term hold but topping up here was an easy decision
