Not sure what more this company needs to do to attract a greater following from investors. They have run conferenced and expert panels to get the word out about how important DFB GaN laser will be in the not too distant future. Reported record revenues, reported increased customer engagements, collaborations and pipeline, continued yield improvements and product development. And yet the average trading volume recently is about $20k AUD.
Firstly, the obvious thing required is large scale laser orders, but at the end of the market they are focused on (startups that require a customized solution ) the most like source of revenues will not come from a stack of laser sales, but from collaborative works. Such recent examples are CLAWS and the Claws participants, Epinova Tech, Applied Energetics, Uviquity, Macquarie university, and multiple Universities in the USA. Secondly, they will need more funding in CY25 as the options are unlikely to be exercised. However, often CR are a great opportunity for an insto or partner to get set on volume. The format is the key here, with a strategic placement preferred to a SPP.
There has been a lot of progress achieve this CY for BLG, including the vertical integration of it US fab, achieving all milestones set by CLAWS ahead of time, signing multiple collaborations with paid multi year contracts, completion and sale of an IP contract and yet the stock is down 65% on record revenue numbers and lower costs. These achievements should be a building block for an acceleration of revenues towards profitability in the next 12 months and yet the register doesn't have an insto involved thats willing to mop up these tiny trading days.
Perhaps others have some idea why some institution cant see how this stock is dirt cheap at these levels compared to its peers and are willing to step up to the plate.
