Tunnel Junctions get a mention in 2 documents from BluGlass this year.

In February 2024 BluGlass published an Investor Presentation - BLG: EXECUTING ON GROWTH STRATEGY

In slide 21 is this;


Or, mixing the words up a bit you might put it like this, RPCVD and tunnel junctions have become part of the enabling technology for brighter and better performing lasers.

In a response to a Q&A question from me a little while ago our Chairman responded along the lines that "he has been told" that RPCVD is needed to produce DFB lasers, just precisely where Tunnel Junction technology fits in I do not know.

On page 9 in the Intellectual Property section is this;



Tunnel junctions are mentioned first, would they get a mention if they had fallen by the wayside?

Maybe a question or 2 in the next Q&A opportunity would resolve the question more accurately. Perhaps like are Tunnel Junctions used by BluGlass in manufacturing DFB lasers? Are Tunnel Junctions used in making MOCVD lasers?

If they are used in making DFB lasers that would seem to widen the IP moat some more, when that technology becomes the go to for ............
