They do have customers, peoples expectations on how long it takes to develop products to a mass manufacturing scale with this kind of high-end technology is just wayyyy off. Especially since one of the sectors everyone keeps pushing BLG to pursue (especially on this forum) is quantum which isn't even a commercial or profitable industry

Defence contracts are going to take an incredibly long time to reach mass manufacturing. Then when you look at any kind of industrial or medical application. How often is a medical imaging company going to refresh their product line-up just to add in a new laser that might be more efficient but their product already works perfectly fine with their current suppliers? How often is a laser welder manufacturer going to replace their suppliers just because a slightly more refined laser is released that they then have to release an entirely new model for?

BLG is focusing on the best long term strategy for growth which is working with these kinds of companies to develop high end products incorporating their lasers from the get-go. This is how you're going to develop multi-million dollar manufacturing contracts which unfortunately, takes years to reach maturity. However, fortunately for us, there has been a lot of interest in these kinds of development programs with BLG across multiple sectors and we're starting to create a very long list of partnerships, all of which are very keen to utilize the progression in laser technology from BLG which you can see from the feedback around our work with the CLAWS contracts
