By my estimates, on something more than a short term trade, the on market buy price would need to be below 2.65 cents (allowing for a small amount of brokerage) to be a better buy than 3.0c (with nil brokerage in the CR) plus the freebies later on at 1:8 on all the holding at the same strike price, but I could be wrong.
