Yes, I agree. It would have been much better though IMO (more of an incentive to take up the entitlement) if options were included in the SPP at a 1:2 ratio to shares purchased.

Yes they will be. However, as the record date for the 1:4 entitlement is 29 Mar, and the completion of the Fab purchase was announced on 4 Apr, it would not seem that they are eligible to participate in the SPP (their eligibility may have been part of the deal, but I haven't seen anything to that affect).
