Reading announcement from Feb 22 it states (while drilling alameda)
… drilling of this section commenced with a mud weight of 1.54sg and had to be increased to 1.73 to maintain well control..
god only knows what the mud weight was up to cementing the liner in u3. but it was less than 1.54. As implied here in the November 21 announcement….
the cement plug that was injected has been drilled out to 1821 m and will continue to 1842 m once the higher density mud has displays the well. Drilling ahead to the deeper targets will then continue, following a successful formation integrity test and pressure test of the blowout preventer…
maybe u3 is balanced at 1.2sg or similar. At 1800m that equates to 3130PSI
