I think the reference to Unit 1B may also hint that McDaniel's have been in touch regarding the upgrade to 1A (which should be released soon IMO). Upgrading the upper sheets and progressing with 1A/1B production is, and should be, done concurently with the remediation of Marti and Alameda. They have already flagged that this is not a mechanical issue, but is a reactionary issue (between the mud and the oil, or between the mud and the rock formation) which hints at a chemical solution. The fact that the pressure build so strongly in Alameda is positive, so after a clean-up it may indeed flow. Worst case scenario is that A3 produces out of Unit 1B (with both A2 and A3 using donkeys to increase flow).
