The theory that Alameda/Marti could just be a "flash in the pan"¹ as they warned about 2years ago could just be the answer: Andrew Purcell warned about a "flash in the pan"¹, here: https://youtu.be/ydrJ5J5hf9c?si=B28oIzDFzIsiA7Ph&t=1846

I believe Alameda-1's drill found a "flash in the pan" (a situation where initially there was promising results, but it turned out less viable than anticipated²).

I don't believe the emulsion/blockage theory for two reasons:

1) a fluid "sample" in Marti was collected "downhole"³ [it had to come from somewhere.... (likely from the reservoir)], this sample was what told us the preliminary API.

2) Alameda's penetrations would have likely cleared any areas of "blockage/emulsion" in my opinion, and therefore a blockage excuse cannot be used here as far as I am concerned, especially considering yet again they collected a sample from the DST tool/drill string e.g "oil samples were recovered on reverse circulation of the DST string and have been sent for lab analysis"⁴.

I harboured this theory in the back of my mind ever since it came out of Andrew Purcell's mouth (flash in the pan), and I planned for this eventuality accordingly (research pays off).
