The timeline works against Zapato, not just 3D but it also requires a big rig to drill granite at depth. Of course we also have the mud issues potentially. Alexeii has done a detailed assessment of the Zapato well results which I gather was quite favourable.
We won’t get 3D or a big rig at Zapato inside a year IMO? H/E a solution via the BOP, like tomorrow, or a smaller rig is going to be quicker, if the gear is available in Cuba. A chemical solution likewise through the BOP would also be quick enough to save our butt so I will watch the video from the flow with interest.
