What you are pointing too is called well workovers, where they target old wells with a set criteria to acid frac to increase production. The set criteria depends on strata and depth, old wells tend to also be shallow so that may be the main limiting factor.
The rig is probably still on site as they haven't stated it being released. I have heard that there are acid frac kits in Cuba so maybe ap has been working on it.
