What I think is going on is "up-ticking", which is illegal. "Up-ticking" is essentially share price manipulation. I believe the bots are constantly "up-ticking" the share price, to make people think there is "an entity" who actually wants to "buy", but in reality 'they' are just waiting for the fear of missing out where someone will buy or stack the bid, then they will then sell in my opinion (which is literally what has been happening if you watch closely enough).

I believe there has been lawsuits in Australia about "down-ticking".
