Well it appears to me that the mud composition or weight has either had a chemical reaction with the oil or the weight of mud has caused fluid loss/invasion into the fractures and has killed the well. I did have concerns how long this drill was taking, skinning of the well bore due to slow rate of penetration is a real concern as are fluid losses. Best we can hope for is its a chemical reaction and a acid wash or similar may resolve the issues Down hole gauges will give them some light on the problem
All in all, the team have failed here, far to long to reach TD especially given prior drilling knowledge
