Unfortunately these things occur with in fractured carbonate plays. From my understanding there are several engineers/scientists on site looking at a solution. As Alexei has pointed out it's a complex riddle which has been an ongoing theme with drilling. There are several scientific papers on this very topic particularly focused on the Middle East region.
I think the silver lining is that the better well control has allowed for a far better data point on the net/gross which in turn will drive up volumetrics oil in place.
I think we will get a further update soon on a remediation plan. It seems that there is confidence on a solution as it seems that they will likely go back down to Marti after Alameda flow tests.
As AP has said to me, the A-1 well had robust flows from the Marti but wasn't controllable. Flowed like the clappers.
