For short term traders and the emotional investors though, this would be extremely annoying and you can see the effect it's already having on them lol.
As far as sp is concerned, pre open indicates a massive drop down to 4c - I believe that's the lowest level in 12 months caused by many bailing (expectation failures coupled with tax time and all) but shares will change hands regardless - many will see it as an opportunity.
Just hope that solutions to issues will be found. It does not really matter when bad news is announced as markets will react regardless but announcing after market closure is usually a sign of 'bad' news. Now that the bad news is out with expectations falling short, when will there be better news?
