Yeh to me the vagueness of the announcement suggests its probably more than an acid washout as rectification. Wouldn't they have attempted this if they really thought it was a simple fix instead of potentially affecting hole stability with an alameda test then having to case it again and or drill a sidetrack ?

I believe to know the chemical solution required, the samples need to be sent for testing to know the correct solution required.
