Obviously they didn’t intend to frac with acid, hopeful they didn’t need to given pervasiveness of A1. Nevertheless the mud was changed, weighted up and consequently this seems to have resulted in formation damage. Doing things on the cheap. Onshore, the risk and penalty is much less hence offshore they prepare for the worst.. I suppose..
