    Hi The Flow,
    What is your profession / experience in O&G?

    I’m not convinced the slots and liner are the problem in relation to blockages. I’d imagine the slots are at least 1/4 inch and they should be fine and not any cause for blockage that can resist any decent formation pressure in the well bore. It seems to me much much much more likely that formation damage and intrusion is the issue (I’ve asked AP slot dimensions and no response)

    You’ve suggested sending crackers down.. Is it normal/possible to perforate a slotted liner in order to get penetration into the formation? If so why wouldn’t they have just done this in the first instance?

    Comms so far haven’t explored this option. Why not? I don’t see any reason why you can’t perforate a slotted liner unless it would jeopardise its strength rating and design capacity. I assume this is the only reason it’s not been considered by the company..
