    Spot on but I have to pull you up. the higher the flow rate the lower the well pressure at the well head thanks to the dynamic flow losses. The wells design is most vulnerable with a closed choke and pressure built up through the whole system. Excuse me I’m a mech engineer not a geo, like you. Of course the higher flow rate might give the rocks more of a hiding but I’d imagine this is more of an issue in sandy sediment gas wells

    Anyway the well is designed for 15000 psi and if they had 1,000,000l storage tanks (they should have them on order hopefully) they could let marti flow, open choke, flat knacker and I reckon with these Gulf of Mexico folded and naturally fractured vuggy carbonates 15,000 bopd is on the cards. We’ll know soon enough. Our Christmas will be next years Easter!
