very short sighted by the market I think there's a good chance they announce plans for a secondary campaign on the Amistad next week. It's a sign off probably from Sonangol and Sherritt maybe cupet as well.
They need to build a few additional pads imo NSEW etc as step outs anyway on Al-2 and couple spur roads potentially ideally a standalone tanker road none of which is that expensive in the scheme of things then couple horizontal wells and then they are making some serious cash. I don't think there is a lack of labour in Cuba that wouldn't be happy for a job trucking oil to a local refinery. In some ways a pipeline is worse for jobs.
More expensive for MAY and partners to truck but jobs and money for Cuba. Much easier to get a loan for a pipeline when you can show maxed out revenue and capacity from trucking lol.
There's an egg (trucking) and then a chicken (pipeline) in this scenario.
