If we are really sitting on one of the world's greatest onshore discoveries, you can be sure that there will be players out there trying every dirty trick in the book to take it away from us.
Our saving grace may be our new finance manager and AP's finance skills that allow the company to raise funds from the early production without requiring further dilutive capital raisings. Although we are fully funded for the appraisal program, a small company like Melbana always needs more capital to keep going. If we can become self sufficient then the relentless downward pressure on the share price won't matter. We can do a "Warren Buffet" and turn of the screen for 6 months and disregard the current share price.
It sounds like the company's legs are madly pedalling underwater. We have a great team at Melbana and a good relationship with the Cuban government. Lets hope they can safely steer us clear of any Russian / Chinese / Australian or any other predators in these shark infested waters.
