well i wish i could trade, but i'm not allowed to. Apart from the $700 worth of MAY i bought at 6.4c about 3 weeks ago (which i will keep as it reduces my average to around 20 cents) i rustled up $550 to buy some more FRE, when i bought them 2 years ago, they were high 50's and bought more high 40's, a bad announcement 3 months ago basically wiped them out, they fell from 33c to as low as 3.6c recently. So if i sound bitter and twisted at times, you might just be right, this is what happened to me just two days ago......my holdings in FRE are now worth about $440, on my account (i paid around $5000 for them) so i thought righto, i'll try and do some small day trades making $50 here and there, as brokerage under a grand is now $5 with comsec, so i bought $550 worth yesterday, and put a sell order on at 6c which was ACCEPTED, that was ok then the arse fell out of them today 6.2c to 4.8c express, no stopping, so i thought i'll just try and get my money back and reduce the sell to 5.7c comsec would not allow me to amend the order !! NO GO !! reason ?? ASX rules state that you must hold $500 minimum parcel of shares, a message comes up i need to hold a $500 marketable parcel minimum number of shares, hardly my fault that the FRE shares are worth a tenth (or less) of what i paid, yet i saw a sale go thru for 3 shares worth 14c, on it's pat malone, not "part of a bigger order" thats the corrupt ASX for you, and Comsec obey their orders, while the hedge funds do as they please, every day, every listed stock, p.s. i even dobbed myself in to comsec for being able to place the 6c sell order at 4pm on Monday, but i cant amend it down, hows that for "restraint of trade" ? as i've said before, the rich get richer, and the poor go broke. p.s; i even dobbed myself in to comsec and told them i actually placed the sell order on FRE at 6c at 4pm monday, whilst my FRE holdings value were under the $500 threshold, so maybe that's their payback, not being able to amend it. my order is still there at 6c, all 9998 shares. Now you know why i get upset when single digit bots start happening, i have to abide by "the rules", seems like others dont.
