Even though I support the war, I must admit witnessing the looks of horror, anguish & pain on both mother & child in photos like these makes me think twice about things.
Then seeing disturbing photos of dead children such as this mutilated infant makes one second guess even more about things.
Yet as disgusting as certain aspects of this war are, what was the alternative?
To have allowed Saddam Hussein to remain in power indefinitely was unthinkable. And the U.N. had proven to be totally ineffectual in their attempts to curtail his activities - he'd simply ignored something like 17 of their resolutions in a row.
